BFSO is een Belgische organisatie voor de voedselveiligheid. Ze richt zich tot iedereen die oog heeft voor voedselveiligheid, van productie via verwerking tot distributie.

The BFSO is the Belgian Food Safety Organisation for the food chain. It is aimed at anyone interested in food safety, from the primary sector through processing to distribution.
The BFSO's mission is to make their interlocutors aware of food safety, to exchange professional experiences and to collaborate with national and international bodies. The BFSO also works closely with the EWFC, European Working Community for Food Inspection and Consumer Protection.
The BFSO also has a legal team. The primary mission of the BFSO's legal branch is to promote the exchange of information and experiences among food law practitioners, including the organization of workshops and the publication of news articles.
